Kelford Cams recommends using their Stage 3 drag racing cams for S58 engines that are professionally built and capable of making over 1400hp. If you plan on using high boost and 76mm+ turbo sizing, then you should be using either ethanol blend or methanol fuel.
It’s important to upgrade your valve springs, KVS58-BT is the recommended option.
Additionally, please double-check clearance for the new racing cam lobe with your intake intermediate rockers.
If you’re using OEM pressed steel rockers, be sure to deburr them to avoid any issues with fouling on the larger cam lobe.
