Compared to volume production pressure plates, SACHS Performance pressure plates have a higher transmittable torque and are less sensitive to thrust loading. Depending on the requirements, they are used with different discs. Higher pedal forces might occur.

These high performance clutch plates from Sachs are a direct replacement for an OEM clutch plate and have a much more aggressive friction surface which allows them to handle up to 80% more torque. This makes them ideal for competition cars where a more aggressive clutch actuation is acceptable. For these clutch plates to operate at their maximum torque capacity they should be used with a Sachs high performance clutch cover.
